Dedicated Internet

There are several ways of connecting yourself to the internet. When we talk about dedicated internet we mean that we guarantee from point A to B the speed you signed for. This is sometimes referred to as an IPL, Leased Line or 1:1 Internet.

Luminet can also offer you internet in a more cost effective way, for example by installing a 1:5 connection. This means that the guaranteed bandwidth is 1/5th of the speed mentioned in the contract. In our day to day operations customers always experience the full bandwidth but in times of heavy load on the netwerk the speed may decrease.

Please note that Luminet can also offer you connections within Costa Rica where no internet is neccesary (for example a branch office that only needs a link to the headquarters).
